Mr. Chain Singh, Assistant Professor from Department of Computer Science & Engineering & Mr. Amitesh Kumar, Assistant Professor from Information Technology department  of Dronacharya College of Engineering, Gurgaon attended a one-day Seminar on “Dell Solutions Tour 2013-Driving IT Transformation” organized by DELL Software at Hotel Oberoi, New Delhi on 12th December 2013. The Dell Solutions Tour 2013 is an innovative format full of features and ‘firsts’, including thought-provoking keynotes and breakouts, a new immersive Expo, a dynamic presentation theatre launching new solutions, and new Special Interest Groups (SIGs), focusing on selected  key topics of Dell Solution Tour and IT Transformation.

Inaugurating the seminar Mr. Suraj Sabberwal, General Manager Dell, India discussed the emerging trends which are fundamentally changing the way to business. Another Expert Mr. Harmeet Malhotra, Executive Director explained about success of business depends upon ability to protect access and leverage mission-critical data on a daily basis – and restore it quickly in the event of an unexpected data loss.

Mr. Murli Mohan, General Manager, Software Business in India explained the software portfolio and driving growth for Dell's India market. Dr. Hemant Kumar Director, Dell services shared his views on five key areas of customer needs: data center and cloud management, information management, mobile workforce management, security and data protection.

The seminar was a unique platform to interact with renowned professionals across the nation.
