One of the projects titled “Earthquake prevention using Base isolation System” completed under the guidance of the Prof.(Dr.) A.Verdhen Head, Civil Engineering Department and Ms. Sakshi Gupta Assistant Professor has been nominated for India’s Budding Award 2013.

The project has been made by the students Deepak Pahuja, Anisha Mor, Deepak Kumar, Abhishek Chauhan, Dinesh Kumar and Himanshu Bisht from Civil Engineering Department of Dronacharya College of Engineering, Gurgaon . The project grails at making the safe structures that are being installed with the isolation unit. The base isolation system helps the structures to retain against the damaging nature of the seismic waves.
